These blooms are bigger than any hosta blooms in my yard so far. Could they actually like the draught? I don't see how, they are shade flowers.

not many people notice how beautiful the flowers are since hostas are known mainly for their foliage . . . and no, i don't think it likes the drought :) . . . i had more than 60 varieties at my former house and they all loved moisture

thanks! i have been trying to keep them watered, but it has been such a drought here i suspected some would die. they must be getting enough to thrive though as they are beautiful and full of blooms.

i have these by my back door so i will notice to water them.
